Hello everyone,
During the bathroom planning, the question now is which shower fixture to choose. Currently, we have a multifunction shower in our apartment, meaning a fixed overhead showerhead with a handheld shower on the side, and I really like that setup. I would like to install something similar in our house. The shower belongs to the landlord, the model is not identifiable, and it is a bit older. I have been looking around and found some great shower systems from Gro***.
The problem is that I really dislike low water pressure, and having to spend ages rinsing out shampoo. It’s just a matter of preference, but I need a strong water flow!
So my question before visiting a plumbing supply store tomorrow: do you have experience with multifunction showers from Gro***, and do they deliver a good, strong water stream?
Thanks!

Doc.Schnaggls11 Mar 2015 17:42Hello,
Hans Grohe also offers a faucet that can supply water to four outlets.
In addition to our Raindance Rainfall 240 Air 3-jet with three outlets, we have connected a completely standard showerhead.
As mentioned above, however, an adequate water supply (larger pipe diameter) and a sufficiently large hot water heater are essential prerequisites for proper enjoyment of these devices...

Dirk

Sebastian7914 Mar 2015 09:55How large is your hot water tank, and what is the flow rate of the Raindance showerhead?
What type of heating system do you have?
We also want a Hansgrohe shower that can deliver up to 25 liters per minute (6.6 gallons per minute) – but with a ground source heat pump. I have no idea if that is even possible.
I was thinking of a hot water tank with a capacity of up to 400 liters (106 gallons)...

Doc.Schnaggls14 Mar 2015 10:51Hello,
Our hot water tank has a capacity of 200 liters (53 gallons). Even after two showers back-to-back, each lasting about 30 minutes, we did not exhaust the tank.
Our Raindance shower has a flow rate of 18 to 28 liters per minute (4.8 to 7.4 gallons per minute), depending on the operating mode.
Our heating system is an air-to-water heat pump from Tecalor.
Best regards,
Dirk

willWohnen18 Mar 2015 16:48Hello,
we are currently looking for a shower set (including a thermostat, rain shower, and height-adjustable handheld shower).
By now, I have narrowed it down to four models, each from a different manufacturer.
I would consider Hansa and Ideal Standard as reliable manufacturers. (Any other opinions?) The other two are Nobili and Breuer.
Can anyone share their experience with these two?

Does anyone have experience with HansaUnita?
