Hi everyone,

Since we are expecting a new addition to the family in a few weeks, it’s about time to start designing the new home. This means the nursery needs a bit of color.
I don’t want to deal with typical DIY store paint but prefer to buy something more professional.
Which (interior) wall paint would you recommend? The surface is an embossed wallpaper with the finest texture available.
@Mellina your painted colored walls look amazing. What is your wall build-up like (filled, primed, painted?), and do you know which paint you used?
We initially thought about Caparol, as we like their Icons series.
The paint should of course not be glossy but rather have a satin finish.

I’m open to any suggestions.

Best regards

Take a look at Kreidezeit. I don’t have personal experience with it but have heard good things. Otherwise, I have always enjoyed working with Caparol.

We painted the entire house with Caparol indeko-plus and are completely satisfied.

The hardware store also carries branded paint—really great ranges from Schöner Wohnen, Sikkens, etc.
Just have a browse!

P.S. There are no bright colors available.

@ivenh0 We have magnetic paint applied as an undercoat by the plasterer and painter in Q3, then the paint chosen by the kids on top...
