Hello everyone
I hope you can give me some advice.
We recently visited a bathroom showroom, and what we want is offered by every manufacturer.
We would like simple white furniture: a vanity cabinet, washbasin, mirror cabinet, and a divided wall cabinet. Nothing special, really.
Which manufacturer would you recommend that offers good quality at a reasonable price?

Sorry, but it’s hard to associate IKEA with quality when it comes to drawer systems It depends on which ones you mean. Hemnes, Birmas, and whatever their names are, are rubbish. Metod, Googmorgon, etc. are top quality.A
Alessandro18 Aug 2020 14:17Unfortunately, I haven’t gone through all of them. Each time, I got so frustrated with the poor quality of the dressers that I decided not to visit that store anymore.

never to enter that store again.I made that same vow in 1998, and it lasted until 2015. It started with curtain rods and ended in 2019 with an almost complete living room set plus kitchen for our granny flat. But definitely, not everything is good. Here is our sideboard—you won’t find anything comparable at that price, maybe from a carpenter, but then you have to be willing to spend the money.

At least my Hemnes furniture from 6-8 years ago is still completely fine in terms of quality.tomtom79 schrieb:

Thanks @tomtom79
This is Metod with ring-shaped handle front and Push to Open feature. Unfortunately, the cover is not from Ikea but from eBay, made of ESG glass measuring 60cm by 40cm (24 inches by 16 inches).
I also built a lowboard, which consists of 3 Metod tall cabinets measuring 80cm by 40cm by 40cm (31 inches by 16 inches by 16 inches) with 2 ESG glass panels 120cm by 40cm (47 inches by 16 inches) from Ikea.

There is also a post from Ikea about sinks, but I can’t find it anymore. It contained some really useful hacks.
