Hello everyone,
Does anyone have tips for me? I’m unsure whether I should go with a construction company that has an architect who designs the house and then the same company builds it, or with an architect who creates the plans and then take the finished plans to a construction company.
What are the advantages and disadvantages?
How did you do it?
It will be a solid (masonry) house!
How do I find good architects?
Thanks in advance!!

Hello,
the main difference will probably be in the quality, as the designer will represent your interests, whereas a general contractor will represent their own, which is of course legitimate.
Having a designer on board will likely be somewhat more expensive, but the client is also better protected against damages, since the designer may be liable separately if necessary.
The risk of insolvency in construction can also be reduced by distributing the work among several companies.
Best regards
