Hello everyone,

I am looking for a chimney system to connect a fireplace kit/fireplace stove.

Requirements:
- As compact dimensions as possible for the chimney
- Nominal diameter 180 mm (7 inches)
- As affordable as possible
- Integrated fresh air supply is not mandatory but would be a nice-to-have

Which certifications should such a system have?
The exact fireplace kit/fireplace stove to be connected is not yet fully determined. The current favorite is the Varia 2R-55h from Spartherm, if that matters.

Thanks everyone.

Good morning,

I wanted to revisit this topic. During my research, I came across a chimney system from the manufacturer Niko. The company is based in Berlin and is significantly more affordable than established manufacturers like Schiedel, etc. Has anyone had experience with Niko?

You might want to take a look at Plewa – it is installed in our building, but I can't tell you exactly why.

Same here (general contractor)! That’s why I assume it’s a "cost-effective" system.

Plewa was also installed for us. I can't say whether it is an inexpensive option, but the chimney sweep mentioned during the wood stove planning that it is a very good system. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact product name.

The company Plewa has apparently recently gone bankrupt – just for your information.
