I am currently planning to renew the house electrical system and need advice on the optimal positioning of the meter cabinet and wiring to the floors to keep cable lengths as short as possible. The house was built in 1965.
Where would you place the meter cabinet?
The cabinet will be 800 x 1100 mm (31.5 x 43.3 inches) in size.

A headroom of 2 m (6 ft 7 in) must also be taken into account.
If space allows, this can be above the water meter (Favorit) or in the area marked in yellow.
This ensures the required clearance of 1.2 m (4 ft) behind.
Any deviations should be clarified with the network operator in advance.
