Hello everyone,

I have visited Poing a few times and looked at various manufacturers of solid prefabricated houses. They all have their own interesting aspects.

My question to you is: can you recommend a manufacturer with a good price-performance ratio? I haven’t been able to find reliable information about the individual manufacturers online.

Thank you very much for your answers.

Best regards

You probably won't be satisfied here either.

Preferences and evaluations vary too much.
Some focus primarily on price and tend to build with so-called low-cost homes. Whether the build is actually worth its price remains to be seen. Whether all desired features are included in the price is also uncertain.
Others prefer to invest a bit more money, hoping to receive correspondingly better quality. Whether this quality justifies the higher price is something the previously mentioned participants might dispute.
A third group (like us) builds with a local supplier. We believe we had a fair price-performance ratio as well as excellent support. However, this supplier does not build in Bavaria—so it might not be relevant for you.
A fourth group wants to include as much as possible when building and is willing to consciously spend more money for that.

Any of the above can end up satisfied or disappointed.

You will likely get 50 different opinions from 100 people.

By the way—what exactly do you mean by a solid prefabricated house? A solid house that is built ready for occupancy, or something else?

Thanks first for the response.

Yes, a solid house that I receive ready to move into. It’s basically a standard prefabricated house, but I’m looking for a house where the finished brick walls are delivered to the construction site, rather than walls built using a timber frame structure.

That’s why I thought maybe some of you have experience with such companies— which ones are good and which ones are not.

I just don’t want to end up with costly renovations after five years or so.
