Hello,

unfortunately, we did not install any recessed spotlights in our stairwell, only a standard wall outlet. Now there is a risk of bumping into the lamp when carrying bulky items.

Does anyone happen to know of a very flat wall lamp or have any other solution for my "problem"? 🙂

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

How often do you actually pass through there with bulky items? That will probably only happen when moving in.

You can manage this by initially installing just a light bulb and then fitting the proper fixture later.

We already live in the house, and all the furniture is in place. Therefore, I don’t want to go through the effort of drilling holes for recessed spotlights. However, a flush-mounted lamp would be more practical 🙂.

We have the same "problem"... no recessed lighting... but that was planned in our case since I was already dealing with the stair lighting (also here in the forum) and did not want recessed downlights.
We are installing fixtures that are about 10 cm deep (4 inches). Small cubes that can be rotated.
If you search for "wall lights" on Google, you can find quite a few online stores. I spent evenings looking for suitable LED fixtures that are stylish and not too expensive.

Hi,

Have you already checked at Ikea or the hardware store? They also offer some "flat" models.

The hardware store doesn’t have anything suitable, I’ll have to check IKEA...
