tocha07Hello, I am new here. I have bought an old house that will soon be demolished and I am planning to build a bungalow (approximately 200m² (2,150 sq ft)). I would like to hire individual tradespeople and am currently looking for a reliable construction company for masonry work for pipe installation in Bremen. Do you have a few names for me? By the way, I am also not yet sure about a demolition company. Thank you in advance.

boxandroof13 Oct 2019 12:54You might want to ask local general contractors if they would be willing to build just the structural shell. This could also help establish contacts for the following trades.
Otherwise, you will probably have someone on your side for the planning who might have contacts. Given the current workload situation, this is definitely easier than starting from scratch.
Personally, I would build with a general contractor and possibly subcontract individual trades if needed. This approach is less stressful and risky, and in this area, it is not necessarily more expensive than hiring trades separately, especially if you don’t have existing contacts.
