ᐅ Looking for a sleek, surface-mounted electrical box for a bedroom

Hello friends,
In the master bedroom, next to the planned bed position, there are cables coming out of the wall on both the left and right side for reading lamps (without an electrical box, coming directly from the wall). Now, because of a crib, we want to change the whole arrangement and don’t want to install the planned lamps or they don’t fit anymore.
Do you have any idea what kind of cover box I can put over the cables so that a child cannot reach them, and it still looks reasonably neat? Maybe I’m just missing the technical term, but all I keep finding are these gray plastic boxes that at best you can tolerate in a basement. How can I hide the cables safely and neatly?
Thanks a lot,
Tassimat

Depending on how far the painting work has progressed, another option would be to install a flush-mounted electrical box, put the cables inside, and cover it with a blank cover. This would be much more compact than a surface-mounted frame. Alternatively, you could install some function instead of the blank cover, such as a recessed wall light, a baby night light or orientation light, a power outlet, or something similar.
