Hello everyone,

I am currently in the final stages of planning the kitchen for my new build.
Since I don’t have much space, I’m looking for a built-in refrigerator with an ice cube function that is 60 to a maximum of 70 cm (24 to 28 inches) wide. In terms of depth, it should not be deeper than the standard 60 cm (24 inches). Whether the appliance has a freezer compartment or not is not important, as I already have an additional freezer.

I know such a device usually doesn’t exist, but maybe someone knows more—I haven’t found anything.

I would really appreciate any tips on appliances.

Best regards,
Flo

This not only preserves food but also freezes it in the freezer compartment. However, you have to refill the water yourself.
The Liebherr is a great appliance with a premium price 😎

I’m quite sure I read the word “direct water connection” in the description of the built-in version (which the original poster wants). In that case, manual refilling should neither be possible nor necessary. The price of 2.5K is quite steep, but they probably don’t sell huge quantities of it.

Personally, I have had only excellent experiences with Liebherr (a freezer with 8 drawers). It just keeps running and running, cools like crazy, and simply doesn’t break down. Thanks to thick insulation from nearly 20 years ago, it’s even reasonably energy efficient. Now, after moving, it was sold due to space constraints for a hundred and is still running elsewhere continuously.

In some video, I also saw a local water tank. On Monday, I will visit my local supplier of building materials and ask for their opinion on it.

So, this topic is a bit older but still relevant. Today, I was talking with an acquaintance, and since I want to have an additional freezer / chest freezer, she suggested I simply look for a dishwasher with an ice cube function. This definitely brings a new perspective to the topic. Do you have any recommendations for me? I’m also not limited to a 60cm (24 inch) width here.
