Hello everyone,
I wanted to hear your opinions and experiences regarding a separate home theater. What advantages and disadvantages do you see? The TV would then be removed from the living room.
On one hand, we want a bright living room, but watching TV in the dark is more enjoyable.

Projector *sniff* – nothing beats a proper plasma 😉 Where can you still get a plasma these days? I wouldn’t want to give up my Panasonic either – but I would like a bigger model (65 inches+).

The old 50" Pana is hanging in the bedroom 😀

Wrong information has unfortunately led to the disappearance of this top-quality technology... Too bad 🙁
I thought I might still find a source;)
I have a 5.1 sound system with cables concealed in the walls. I also have a 42-inch TV, which is more than enough. It works well for both Bundesliga matches and movies. With the kids around, we rarely watch TV anyway – when they're here, the TV is off or it’s just playing Sandmann...
A separate TV room? Who would play with the kids then? As long as they’re young, it doesn’t make sense. When they get older, they can play in their own rooms, and then I can watch football in the living room – I don’t need an extra room for that.
