We recently purchased a single-family house where a load-bearing concrete column was poured outdoors. However, so far, no one has taken the effort to remove the formwork (PVC drainpipe).
We are considering leaving it in place and simply painting the formwork. Is this advisable, or could moisture, for example, accumulate inside the formwork?
