Hello everyone,
in our new build, the front door is drafty. The defect has been acknowledged by the door company, and the new door has been ordered but will not be delivered and installed until the end of January. My question to you is: Do I have any rights regarding the heating costs that I am essentially blowing outside? How is this calculated? The door lets in a noticeable draft, causing condensation to form inside on the aluminum door.
Thanks in advance,
Franz

Our door also pulls in slightly when locked. Otherwise, perhaps try sticking some foam sealing tape on the door???

In my opinion, claiming compensation for damages in this context is exaggerated. The damage would first need to be assessed, which is not straightforward.
