Today I noticed that cold drafts are coming through the gap at the roller shutter box cover. With the strong gusts of wind today, you can also hear a constant whistling sound.
According to the infrared thermometer, these spots are only 14°C (57°F), while the indoor temperature is 21.5°C (71°F).

Is there any way to seal this gap?

The windows and roller shutters were installed exactly 2 years and 1 month ago. Unfortunately, this means I am out of the warranty period.
Windows have a 5-year warranty, but unfortunately, the sun protection only has 2 years. 🙁

You could glue an XPS board on and repaint it. If the roller shutter needs repairs later, you’ll have to scrape it off and redo it. Is it the same on the other side?

No... that’s something you do in renovations, but definitely not in new construction 😱 🤨

Even after the warranty period has expired, I would still ask questions. If the personal interaction during the construction was fair and positive, it will not be difficult to find a good solution.
First thought: Obsolescence in construction!

You could check if there is enough space left in the box for a PU foam mat and attach it to the service panel...

It becomes airtight through caulking.
