Hello everyone,
We have just completed a construction contract and I am now organizing all the documents.
I noticed that the tightness test according to DIN EN 1610 (air) was carried out at the start of construction and only 2 meters (6.6 feet) of pipe were tested. Apparently, this was the 2 meters (6.6 feet) of piping installed under the building slab. This was in March 2015.
In August or September, the foul water and rainwater pipes were completed and connected to the inspection chamber.
Is the initial test sufficient, or should the entire finished system be tested?
I have not yet received a response from the developer regarding this.
Thank you!
