Hello everyone,

I want to install polygonal slabs on my terrace and then border the entire area with a dry stone wall. Since the existing slope is somewhat too shallow, I plan to first apply a leveling compound.

The planned layer structure would be:
Leveling compound --> Waterproofing slurry --> Drainage mortar (4cm (1.6 inches)) --> Polygonal slabs (2-3cm (0.8-1.2 inches) thick) fixed with natural stone adhesive, applied wet-on-wet into the mortar.

The mortar bed is intended to prevent the stones from sinking or lifting, as previously happened with the gravel fill. I'm also unsure whether a drainage mesh should be placed between the concrete slab and the drainage mortar, as is often recommended by manufacturers like Schlütter.

The basement ends at the house wall, but then the underground garage with an airlock begins. The first third of the terrace is hollow. This is where the ventilation shaft and the window to the heating room are located.

Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
