Good evening,
Hopefully, in about two weeks, the construction of our house (solid construction, aerated concrete) will finally begin.
On the ground floor, there is a large open living and dining area, with the sofa positioned approximately in the middle. We are now trying to figure out how to route the cables for the small speakers (5.1) behind the sofa. Mounting them on the wall is only possible on one side, while on the other side the distance to the sofa is about 2 meters (6.5 feet).
I have two ideas: either we run flat cables underneath the laminate flooring, or have empty conduits installed in the screed.
How have you dealt with this cable routing challenge?
Best regards
Marko

But why 2m (6.6 ft) too much? Isn't it usually measured and then adjusted accordingly on the running level?
