Hello everyone,
Yesterday, I installed the polyethylene (PE) sheet required by the manufacturer for our cork flooring (10.5mm (0.41 inch) thickness from WICANDERS).
The sheet has some wrinkles in certain areas, and I wanted to ask if this could actually cause the floor to be uneven?
I honestly can’t imagine that such a thin sheet must or can lie completely wrinkle-free on the floor—it seems practically impossible to achieve during installation. The floor also has some weight and should press the sheet down after the floating installation, right? Or am I mistaken here?
