Hello Ikea fans,

In my Metod kitchen, under the sink, I have a pull-out with two 22-liter (5.8 gallons) buckets, one for residual waste and one for packaging (green dot)... something like this:

I hooked a small 2-liter (0.5 gallons) bucket inside one of the larger ones for organic waste, but even in a single-person household, it fills up quite quickly.

Has anyone found an alternative that is a bit larger (ideally 4–5 liters / 1–1.3 gallons) and can also be hung inside the big buckets?

Thanks & best regards,

Why is there so much residual waste? When I separate paper, glass, packaging, and organic waste, almost no residual waste remains, and 2 liters (0.5 gallons) is enough for the residual waste.

Otherwise, take two 11 L (3 gallon) buckets, one for organic waste and one for residual waste.
