Hi community,

Do you have any tips on how to nicely integrate a mailbox into the property? I have seen someone combine a concrete fence with a concrete pillar to incorporate the whole setup into the property.

What do you think about this? Do you have other ideas?

Actually, I wouldn’t spend much time worrying about a mailbox. I could also do without one since I don’t remember receiving any mail this year that I hadn’t already gotten digitally. Sometimes I only check it every three weeks to deal with junk mail. The delivery person leaves packages safely on the terrace.

Maybe you wouldn’t, but others do. You should have understood that by now.

Tips are being requested here. Maybe try to broaden your limited perspective, as there can be different approaches beyond what you can imagine 😉

Aside from that, the original poster has, unfortunately, not responded after three pages and numerous replies.

And on the few days each year when I’m sick, I still manage the 8 m (26 feet) to the mailbox somehow. I can also handle the 5 km (3.1 miles) to the doctor.

Maybe you, but others don’t. You should have understood that by now.

Since the original poster asked, it seems they need the mailbox more often than you do. There are actually people who receive mail regularly.

Legitimate concern. What does our property look like...

Anyway, we definitely want a mailbox near the driveway at the property boundary – I share your opinion on "do it yourself"...

The entire property will be fenced. Whether with a fence, plants, or something else is still open.

It should look modern and clean.

Thank you very much
