nullhornHello everyone,
I am looking for a door intercom system / doorbell for my new build.
Flush-mounted, RFID for unlocking, camera.
So far, so goodâthere are plenty of these available online, both cheap and expensive.
The catch is, I donât want to unlock it only via a proprietary monitor or an app, but also through software on my PC.
At the very least, the cameraâs video feed should be displayed on my PC. This means it definitely needs to be a LAN camera.
Do you know of any suppliers that offer this in their range?
Regards,
Flo

The app from Goliath or Dahua was somewhat delayed during testing on the tablet, and the delay varied in length. I found this to be not very user-friendly. After some testing, I therefore installed a small 7-inch (18cm) monitor from Dahua next to my home office workspace. Displaying the image through the PC works, but only via the browser.

We now access it through our own smart home app/GUI without any noticeable delay...
