we moved in about 3 months ago, and now everything is basically finished. In the stairwell, we have a small gallery, and I am currently facing a problem here that I haven’t been able to solve yet.
A light fixture with 3 spheres is supposed to be installed here (ceiling outlet visible). During the construction phase, two wooden planks were built into the walls and covered with scaffolding boards. Of course, these are no longer available to me.
How would you go about installing the lights here, or is it really unavoidable to set up a full scaffold from below?
Looking forward to your creative ideas!

You won’t be able to avoid using scaffolding for that. Pendant lights in a stairwell are always a real eye-catcher, but they are a nightmare both to install and simply when changing the bulbs. I don't even want to talk about cleaning the fixture.

Cleaning is a nightmare. That’s why you should buy a proper ladder (stable/high-quality) that allows you to level it!
Oh, the same problem as we have. Fortunately, we have a staircase with a landing, so I can work well with a ladder. Luckily, our ceiling is high and far enough away that we can keep the light fixture with the bulb out of sight. Unfortunately, that probably won’t work much longer...

During the construction phase, two beams were built into the walls here In our old house, the openings for these beams were only temporarily sealed. If someone wanted to, they could have been used. Is that the case with you? Are you sure the brackets are no longer there?
