ᐅ Is it possible to connect laminate flooring to a baseboard cable duct?

DReffectsHello,
Unfortunately, in an old building, I have a baseboard cable duct that is glued to the PVC floor with silicone. It is also attached to the wall (wallpaper).
Removing the duct for laminate flooring installation on top of the PVC is therefore... less than ideal.
I know what the absolutely proper solution would be, but unfortunately, I don’t have the time or budget for it.
What could I do? The laminate will be installed almost directly next to it, and silicone probably isn’t a good option, right?
Is there some kind of adhesive lip that can be attached to the baseboard cable duct?
Thanks a lot!!

That sounds time-consuming, I believe.
The quarter-round mouldings also come in white and can actually look quite stylish.Really great tip! I have a room where the baseboard cable channels run along three of the four walls. For the last row, there was no other way but to run the cables in front of them. The quarter-round mouldings provide a perfect finish. I attached them to the baseboard channels using double-sided tape 🙂Similar topics
