Hi everyone,
we are planning to build a louvered roof measuring 3.5 x 6 meters (11.5 x 20 feet) in Baden-Württemberg.
The roof will be installed on a wooden structure/balcony. The load capacity is guaranteed.

I already have two quotes:
- Brustor B200XL (26,500 EUR) (Has only been building roofs for 3 years)
- Renson Camarque (34,000 EUR) (Very experienced)

Both systems include 4 zip screens, heating, 4 louvers with lighting and remote control, integrated zips, etc.
Both are marketed as high-end products, although Renson is probably a bit superior (wind resistance, louver thickness).
But is the extra 7,500 EUR worth it?

I have seen both systems in person, and they both look good in the showroom. Since we hope to plan for 25+ years, I don’t want to save money now only to have costly upgrades later.

Unfortunately, there aren’t many comparisons online besides advertisements. Would you be interested in sharing your experiences with me here?

Thanks and good luck

Hi. Go with Rensson, Brustor, or Warema. Stay away from Italian louvered roofs. I have had only bad experiences. The Pratic retractable louvered roof broke down completely after a short time. Several parts were replaced but then broke again. It was repaired again. It still doesn’t work properly. I will take legal action once my vacation is over. Greetings from Hannover

We also decided on a louvered roof and looked into the manufacturers Brustor, Warema, Renson, and BT Group beforehand.
Our assessment of the different manufacturers...
Brustor: did not convince us at all in terms of quality and is not comparable to the others.
Renson: we could only view online, so it was quickly off the list; besides, their prices are reportedly extremely high.
Warema: we liked very much and it was also among our final options.
BT Group: impressed us both in terms of quality and the representative’s marketing approach 🙂
In the end, we chose a louvered roof from BT Group in Italy, which is expected to be delivered in 1-2 months.

We hope everything works out and we don’t encounter any problems.
Does anyone have experience with BT Group?

Hello,

I just checked out their website. We are also looking for a nice canopy for our patio.
Who is their partner in Germany?

I would also be interested if anyone has experience with them.
