Hello everyone,
I am currently considering the intercom system for our house planning.
Friends have recommended the Doorbird D2101V so far. (Price/performance is okay, although the camera quality is not outstanding.)
Do you have any good alternatives that you could suggest?
General information:
- The house will be wired with KNX
- The fingerprint scanner is already integrated directly into the door

It will probably come down to one app for the house and one for the door. The door opener then has to be operated from the doorbell app (as described above with the relays, make sure to check the wiring beforehand!).

So far, no practical experience yet, but hopefully more soon.
However, I am also an iOS user and am curious about the experiences with iPhone/iPad in this context.
At the moment, I can’t say much... but in principle, everything should work. Apparently, this is a closed system... so integrating a tablet won’t be possible.

Okay, thanks 🙂 but with the doorbird, does it not have to be controlled from the doorbell app?

I use an Android phone, but my wife uses Apple.
