Hello fans,

Today I wanted to install my Bredskär sink (52cm (20.5 inches) version). Unfortunately, the mounting clips did NOT work at all. I cut the hole exactly as the instructions required (7mm (about 0.3 inches) smaller all around than the sink).

First attempt: As described in the instructions, I attached all the clips and then tried to set the sink in place. That simply doesn’t work. Since the clips can’t rotate, they need a lot of space, and no matter how you turn or wiggle the sink, it won’t fit.

Second attempt: I tried to attach the clips afterward from underneath. This worked somewhat, but honestly very poorly. Threading the clips past the 38mm (1.5 inches) countertop and working from below is extremely difficult.

At the moment, I’m considering not fixing the sink at all and just sealing it with silicone all around, because I’m really fed up. The instructions on this are terrible. Even in the videos, it’s shown as if it’s a no-brainer. So either I’m really missing something big, or it’s genuinely not as easy as it looks.

How did you manage it?
Best regards, Peter

Hello, check if it works like shown in the video. These might be the same clamps.
