Hello,
1) Yes.
2) Good.
3) Yes.
4) To make the door fit in width, you will need to attach a strip with the thickness of the cabinet wall in front of the washing machine anyway. This could also be done on the right side. The side panel does not have to be made from just a thin cover panel if space allows. Whether the depth works out, I would measure on the actual appliance to make sure, for example, that hoses are not overlooked.
5) Starting in the middle of the cooktop cutout is absolutely not an option at all. First, get price quotes from the hardware store before considering this further.
6) Affordable, easy to maintain, and durable is a laminate board with texture. Avoid completely smooth surfaces, as they always get scratched.
7) I would combine light gray Veddinge with white Veddinge. The dark Ringhult on top can create the impression that the cabinets are looming over you. Have you checked if new colors will replace the red and beige RINGHULT?

Hello Ikea expert,

thank you very much for your response!

Regarding the points:
3. I don’t find the hinge very appealing visually, so it will probably be a fully integrated model after all.

4. I am still clarifying my budget; it might also end up being a semi-integrated model.

5. I just used the Obi countertop configurator and got a price of about €260 (around $280), which is still acceptable. However, I haven't done any further research regarding quality, etc.

6. Do you also mean laminate with a wood look? I can’t quite imagine the texture.

7. I didn’t ask. So, in your opinion, doesn’t Ringlut white on the bottom and Veddinge light gray on top go well together?

Best regards,
Steffen

6. I am thinking more of a stone look. I don’t find the wood look very appealing with smooth, modern fronts.

7. I’m not sure about having high gloss on the bottom and not on the top, but like the worktop finish, that’s a matter of personal taste.

Hello,

I was unfortunately busy with other matters and couldn’t provide any further feedback.

There have been some updates regarding my points:

2. By swapping the base cabinet with the sink and the 20cm (8 inches) cabinet, the space issue has been resolved. This is because the waste pull-out drawer only extends in the lower two-thirds, and there is a panel at the top that won’t interfere with the washing machine door.

3. It will definitely be a fully integrated dishwasher with a flexible hinge (Vario hinge); I don’t like any other options aesthetically.

4. The washing machine decision is still pending.

5. The countertop will probably come from a home improvement store, as they offer a much wider selection and can cut it faster than a custom countertop (2–3 weeks versus 6–8 weeks). Financially, there isn’t a significant difference when comparing the IKEA countertop (not custom) to a home improvement store, and practically no difference between a custom countertop and one from the home improvement store.

6. The flooring will likely be laminate, but there is only one textured option that I like. The final choice of color and pattern has not been made yet.

7. The color combination is not finalized, but the decision to avoid dark colors for the wall cabinets has been made.

Best regards
Steffen

Can you get the right depth at the hardware store? IKEA cabinets are 63.5cm (25 inches) deep instead of the standard 60cm (24 inches). Or are you having 90cm (35 inches) deep panels cut down?

Yes, it will come down to cutting a 90cm (35 inch) panel. The cost is still reasonable because my corner connection measures about 2.45m (8 ft) by 1.45m (4 ft 9 inch), so they can use one 4.1m (13 ft 5 inch) panel and don’t need to cut a second one.
