ᐅ Kitchen Layouts – Which Floor Plan to Choose? Feedback

We are trying to find a suitable kitchen layout. What does your floor plan look like, and why did you choose it?

That probably depends heavily on the spatial conditions and what makes sense.

At first, we considered a G-shaped layout. But during planning, we realized that wouldn't work. Now there is one row and a parallel peninsula. The storage volume is nearly the same, but it is much more practical to use.

In general: two parallel rows are usually the most practical layout (and, for example, are often the standard in professional kitchens), but of course this depends on the space available.

We actually find only an island kitchen visually appealing. Consequently, it requires enough space and is not the most practical solution.

What do you think of this kitchen?

Personally, I would not be a fan of having the toilet directly adjacent to the kitchen.
