Our kitchen was installed three and a half years ago. Among other things, we have a tall cabinet with full-extension drawers, so the door has 5 hinges with a 165-degree opening angle.
In May, a pin broke in one of these hinges. As a result, the door could no longer close completely but kept "springing" back to about 10-15 degrees open. I replaced the hinge with a

(see attached picture).
Since yesterday, I have the same issue again, where the door springs back to 10-15 degrees and stays open. I have not yet been able to determine which of the five hinges is causing this this time. But generally speaking: why does this happen so often? Is there something in the installation or door adjustment that puts extra strain on the hinges?
