If the whirlpool term doesn’t mean anything to you, your only option is to disassemble the hood enough to reach the connector or to carefully grind your way in from the front. You have to go through the green circuit board to determine whether the part is glued in.

So today I tried calling this number, but there was no response.

Maybe it was because it was after 6 p.m.?

No images, no exploded views, no part numbers that can be found again in the spare parts shop – terrible service.
