Hello everyone!

We recently purchased a new Nolte kitchen, and we have noticed a whitish coating several centimeters wide (several inches) on the underside of the countertop, specifically on the side where the dishwasher, sink, and a drawer front are located. The coating is also applied quite irregularly in some areas, as can be seen in the photos. Is this, as the dealer claimed, actually a protective layer that is applied along the entire length of the countertop, not only near the dishwasher? If so, is it normal for it to show such irregularities? Or was the work done carelessly?

Incredible irregularities... Definitely raise a complaint, especially since it is the underside and is hardly ever visible...

I don’t get it either. What role is that supposed to play?

How many of you have bent down just like I did to take a closer look at the underside of your countertop? I just had to laugh at the thought.
Yes, it looks the same in our case. I’ve never even noticed it was an issue, not even while cleaning. Funny how things turn out...

If you have no other worries, life is quite alright.
