So, I'm starting a new topic here to avoid overloading the house pictures thread.
I find the sliding doors for ovens quite interesting – but do they really offer any added value? I was also surprised to read that ovens now seem to be adopting a feature I dislike in microwaves: instead of setting temperature and possibly time, you input the "dimensions" of the food?! What is that supposed to achieve?! Personally, I think it’s terrible.

Gentlemen, forget about that gastrosex idea. Just buy a kilo of shrimp, cover the kitchen table with oilcloth, sit down with your partner and peel the shrimp together, sprinkle some pepper on them, eat—they’re pure protein. The ink can be used for your fountain pen, and she’ll probably like that better than gastrosex anyway. So, let’s go... with enthusiasm. The good thing is, the fisherman has already cooked them alive on board, so you can eat them right away. Some clever ones even put a slice of rye bread underneath. Karsten

I really enjoy cooking and will never understand what German soup cooks see in the Thermomix. It’s basically a completely unnecessary device, but marketing wins. This is called sponsorship. VIPs simply get some things handed to them. Dieter Bohlen had three cars from different brands in front of his door that he never ordered himself. He was allowed to use them for a year. (As of 2005)

By the way, the main buyer group for the Thermomix is women. Yes, because of peer pressure.
My young colleagues with a TM can no longer cut onions with a knife.

But you did notice the subtle irony in @Alex85’s post, right?Certainly. But I didn’t feel like scrolling back to find another reference. Alex gets it.

The Thermomix is found, sometimes more than one, in many upscale restaurant kitchens. See above.
Also, it’s not really used for cooking but more for mixing certain components or stirring a sauce at a consistent temperature.

For baking, there’s nothing better.Another machine can do the mixing too, and it doesn’t have to be from Vorwerk. The TM can’t bake either.

We also make complete meals with it (beef roulades, turkey strips, fish…)That’s also possible with an air fryer for €159 (or a similar device).
It’s been mentioned somewhere: it’s about status! Women buy Tupperware, household cleaning products, and Vorwerk products just like jewelry. Everyone should see that you can afford it.
Miele, Apple, iPhone… Audi or Mini: if keeping up with the trend matters, you have it. Nobody questions anymore whether the item is worth the money… then you’re stubborn, with countless arguments about how great and unique the product is.
The ultimate claim here—sticking to the kitchen topic—is that there’s nothing better than the TM for baking.

No, no pyrolysis... I do it the way you do it
This will happen in our great gas grill (not from Webergrill) in the future
Exactly! And you want to know something? The Edeka in the neighboring village has someone at the cheese counter, and at our Edeka someone at the meat counter—they do it just like in the commercials. I could laugh every time at the phrases they come up with
At our place, the induction cooktop beeps five times in a row when I put a cloth on it. Even when it’s off :/
By now, people say you can bake better in a convection frye than in the oven Wow, my wife makes cheesecake in the Thermomix. It’s my favorite cake. It makes me almost sick every time.
