ᐅ Purchase KfW 55 Materials Before Building Permit / Construction Start

We are currently still waiting for the building permit / planning permission (according to the building authority it is in the final phase) for our planned two-family house in an outlying area. KFW 55 approval has been granted. We would now like to buy building materials such as insulation, bricks, etc. Is this a problem for the KFW bank or does it not matter?

Martial.white30 Mar 2022 19:19No matter what anyone here replies, just like with grants, ALWAYS try to get written approval from the KfW.

WilderSueden30 Mar 2022 22:38I believe the problem is more that you won’t receive any funds from the loan without a building permit / planning permission. The bank wants to ensure that you are actually allowed to build their collateral.
