Hello everyone, I have a KALLAX shelf unit with several doors, and unfortunately, they don't all open to the same extent. Some doors stop at about 90 degrees, while others open wider, almost fully. I’m wondering how to adjust them so that all doors open evenly and stay parallel? I suspect it has to do with the hinge adjustment, but I’m not sure how to handle it in detail. Is there a guide or a trick to set the doors so they all open to the same angle and don’t have varying opening degrees? Thanks in advance for your tips!

I also noticed that some doors hang slightly askew, so I would like to know if adjusting the opening width might also affect the door’s alignment?
In theory, these are two separate mechanisms: the door’s alignment is mainly adjusted via the adjustment screws at the back or on the upper hinge, while the opening width is controlled by the spring or stop screws. Although these two settings have a minimal effect on each other, they should be adjusted separately. It is advisable to first align the door properly (to avoid it hanging crooked) and then adjust the opening width. This improves functionality and appearance. Uneven opening angles can also result from a slightly uneven door stop on the cabinet itself, so check whether the cabinet is level.
