Hello everyone,

we are in the process of buying a house. The ceiling panels in the attached garage make me unsure whether they contain asbestos or not. Maybe someone here has experience and could help us.

Crack in a rough concrete wall with an irregular surface.

Structural wall with crumbling plaster and a dark cavity inside

Rough white wall surface with irregular plaster texture

Basement ceiling with cracks, moisture stains, and a rusty pipe.

That already sounds good, one less concern.

Thank you

The roof is covered with asbestos corrugated sheets. It seems they are no longer watertight. Can these be patched with bitumen or similar materials, or should we replace them? It doesn’t have to last another 10 years, as there are other investments in the house that are more important right now.
