Is there an easy way to understand the Ikea Brimnes instructions? I bought the Brimnes series and am now about to start assembling it. The manual is quite schematic and some steps only briefly explain how certain parts should be joined. Does anyone have tips or methods to better follow the often sparse explanations and illustrations? Preferably without spending hours guessing – I’m mainly looking for practical approaches or tricks that make understanding much easier.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to quickly chime in that it really helps to take your time and proceed calmly with the instructions. I assembled my Brimnes dresser all at once and at first thought, oh no, this will be complicated – but with a bit of patience and breaks, it worked out really well!

- Tip: Always take a moment to breathe before or after each step.
- Basic advice: Use a screwdriver and hammer, but don’t apply too much force!

You can do it!

In my opinion, an easy way to better understand the Ikea Brimnes assembly instructions is primarily through a systematic approach and patience.

When assembling, keep the following in mind:
- Lay out all parts and small components clearly according to the numbers in the instructions.
- Make sure you have sufficient lighting and enough space to compare and sort the parts.
- Especially for steps that are poorly illustrated, draw a small sketch if you learn better visually.
- If you are unsure about certain steps, try to visualize the overall process by looking ahead to the later steps.
- Work step by step and do not skip any steps.
