I recently became interested in the Ikea Brimnes furniture system, mainly because of its design and good storage options. However, I wonder: is there a way to assemble Ikea Brimnes furniture without using tools? I’m not just talking about avoiding screwdrivers or Allen keys, but assembling it completely tool-free or by using alternative aids that are not typical tools. I want to find out if anyone has practical experience or tips on how to make the assembly easier or even entirely tool-free, as I often don’t have the right toolbox on hand and borrowing or buying tools can be inconvenient.

If that’s not available, you could use a small screwdriver or sturdy pliers to at least tighten the screws, but this is not ideal and can damage the screws.
