Hello everyone,
our plot has a specified ridge direction, but there are no details about the roof shape in the development plan or planning permission. Do you think it’s possible to manage this somehow? Does anyone have experience with this? The architect said it should be possible...
Thanks

Why do you distrust your architect’s statements?
If neither the building permit/planning permission, nor the textual regulations or the design guidelines exclude a ridge dormer, you are allowed to build one.

Because a flat roof basically doesn’t have a ridge Or does it mean this: If the house has a ridge, it must be maintained?? The ridge direction must be followed if the house is planned to have a gable / hip / shed roof or a staggered roof.
