Hello everyone, what do you think about the MSH? Both the tiler and the electrician say it is too low; with our neighbors, it ends flush with the screed at the top. Can we now request the construction company to fix this defect? However, the site manager/architect is on vacation until the end of the month.

Construction site: floor opening with water pipe, hose, and cement residues in the floor area

It wouldn’t really make a difference in the end, right? Now it’s concreted in and that’s that. No need to get worked up about it. It just has to be sealed properly, and it doesn’t really matter if it’s five centimeters (2 inches) lower or higher.

Normally, the opening is much too large during installation and is only properly connected after the floor is completed. That was the case for us. But your installer was probably eager. No problem, as long as it’s done properly and sealed tight.
