Hello,

Yesterday we visited IKEA and saw a new kitchen setup with wall cabinets that were 120cm (47 inches) high.
I can’t find cabinets like that in the 3D planner or anywhere else on the IKEA website.
Does anyone know if these are a completely new product line coming out or something like that?

Hello,

could it be that 40cm (16 inches) and 80cm (31 inches) cabinets have been stacked on top of each other?

Good morning,

take a look... on page 50 (in the kitchen system catalog) there are sizes listed, counted from the top. The second, third, and fourth models are 120 cm (47 inches).

The reason is as follows:
All the cabinet units can basically be assembled individually. This means these versions only show a "POSSIBLE COMBINATION!" 😀
And the 1.20 m (47 inches) is basically the result of an 80 cm (31.5 inches) wall cabinet PLUS an additional 40 cm (16 inches) option.

Have a great day, Hochglanz 😀

Aaaaaah, yes, when you know that there are fronts wider than 100cm (39 inches), it makes sense. Thank you very much for the clarification.

Good morning kron,

you’re welcome.

It’s amazing how flexible Ikea can be, isn’t it 😀

Best regards, Hochglanz
