ᐅ Are building plans reliable? When is the right time to terminate your rental lease?

I would like to ask you how long before moving into your new house you gave notice to terminate your previous rental apartment. At what stage of the building process or how much time before the move do you consider appropriate to be on the safe side? We have the usual(?) notice period of 3 months.
The reason for my question is probably clear: not to pay rent longer than necessary, but also to avoid having to stay in a hotel for (several) weeks and store furniture. We have recently moved to this area and therefore cannot stay temporarily with friends or relatives.

Our screed was poured last Thursday. 🙂
The house handover is scheduled for July 11–22, 2022. Yesterday, we decided to give notice on our apartment by August 31. 🙂 Our backup plan is to rent a large storage tent if necessary, which we would set up on the property to store our furniture (which isn’t very valuable) ... once the house is accepted, we would only need to move the furniture inside since it would already be on the property. 🙂 According to plan B, we would then live in a rented caravan, a holiday apartment, or something similar ... maybe we’ll just camp, since it’s summer and we have electricity and water at the construction site. However, there are only two of us adults, no children, pets, or work or social obligations, so a somewhat irregular daily routine is manageable for a while. Have you checked the delivery times for the meter cabinet, heating system, and possibly the controlled residential ventilation system?

We don’t have a mechanical ventilation system.Did you receive any instructions about ventilation or similar after the screed was installed? We want to ask our site manager about that. At the moment, some kind of drying device is connected to the underfloor heating (still running on construction power). How is it set up at your place?
What type of screed do you have? Cement screed or calcium sulfate screed? I’m not sure which one we have, but I assume it’s cement screed because the drying time is longer.

If I understand correctly, this is all already in the technical room. We do not have mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.
Did you receive any instructions about ventilation or similar after the screed was installed? We still want to ask our site manager about it. Right now, some kind of drying device is somehow connected to the underfloor heating. How is it set up at your place? We have six construction dehumidifiers that I have to empty three times a day. Additionally, the underfloor heating was connected through a heating cartridge. So, I go into the house three times a day, ventilate for about 20 minutes, and empty the dehumidifiers.

We only have this one device connected to the underfloor heating. We don’t have to drain any water anywhere. Maybe the “thing” on the underfloor heating is also a cartridge? I need to look into that.
Have your walls already been plastered or skimmed? That is scheduled to be done for us next week.
