Hello everyone, I am currently considering buying an Ikea Brimnes piece of furniture but have some concerns about the assembly. I am not very experienced with DIY and have only assembled a few pieces of furniture so far. My question is: Is assembling the Ikea BRIMNES suitable for beginners with average DIY skills, or are there parts where you might quickly run into difficulties? I’m particularly interested in your assessment of the clarity of the assembly instructions, the time required, and whether additional tools or special skills are needed. I can only say: Assembling is fun, even for beginners! 😄 The BRIMNES series isn’t the most complicated at Ikea, you can handle it calmly! It’s important to really study the instructions carefully, not rush, and ideally sort all the parts beforehand.
Absolutely! Taking your time is important. And if something doesn’t fit, don’t get frustrated – sometimes it helps to take a short break and start again! So: Go for it! 👍

Hello everyone! 😊 I believe it's important to bring a bit of humor alongside the instructions. No piece of furniture in the world gets assembled perfectly without taking at least one deep breath or double-checking if you might have a duplicate part. BRIMNES is actually a good example – solid construction, but sometimes you just need a short break and maybe a coffee ☕ to recharge before continuing with fresh energy.
I can only agree with that! It really saves time and nerves in the end.
