Hello everyone,

I have no idea and need an expert opinion. Our semi-detached house is being built (according to the building description) "(...) according to the criteria of the current Energy Saving Ordinance 2014 with the stricter requirements as of January 1, 2016."

Is this a KfW standard, and if so, which one?

Thank you very much for your help.

Building according to the Energy Saving Ordinance corresponds to "KFW 70." This is not eligible for funding if that is your goal. Funding starts at KFW 55.

The question was about the KfW standard, and that must and can be answered with yes.

Alright, that's correct. However, it is irrelevant because this standard offers no benefit other than meeting the legal requirement.
That said, it is still very well built.

Well. Some banks may offer a better interest rate if you build to KfW 70 standards. For example, Commerzbank has/had such a program.

Better interest rate than which standard?
You can’t build “worse,” the energy saving regulation is the minimum requirement.
