ᐅ Screed in a garden shed without insulation strips – is that problematic?

SchafferHello forum,
I removed the deteriorated screed from our 18 m² (194 sq ft) large, solid brick (medium quality) garden shed and had a new screed installed by a screed installer. The garden shed is unheated, so it gets cold in winter and hot in summer.
One screed installer said that the screed needs to be able to move and offered to install it with edge insulation strips. However, the contractor used Knauf Katja membrane (according to the quote) and construction foil instead. The result looks like in the attached pictures. Picture 04 shows the view against the wall, 06 is the membrane folded back from the wall, so the black material is against the wall, and picture 07 shows the aluminum facing and construction foil.
I am not familiar with this method. Question: Could my foundation be damaged without edge insulation strips? Is the procedure shown in the pictures professionally correct?
Thank you for any answers!
Best regards from Schaffer!
