ᐅ Is it beneficial to prepare for photovoltaic systems during new construction?

Hello
I am about to buy a new build from a developer.
Does it make sense to prepare for a photovoltaic system so that it can be installed later?
What exactly is needed for the preparation? Just an empty conduit?

So, a DN50 only costs a few euros more. I wouldn’t try to save on that.We actually ordered it, but the electrician said it wasn’t necessary..
It’s a 30 euro upgrade for us, but better to have it than to need it, right? 😀
The extra cost is money well spent.
If you really need to lay cables on all sides, there will be 8 cables coming down (2 per string) plus the grounding cable. It will get very tight with a 32mm (1.25 inch) conduit.
It is also important that your electrician installs the conduit as vertically as possible.

We are only 3 people and according to the 2020 billing, our electricity consumption was about 2200 kWh. That includes around 7 months of continuous home office, which is no longer the case now.

Honestly, your electricity consumption shouldn’t be a deciding factor for or against installing a photovoltaic system.
The photovoltaic system needs to pay for itself solely through the income from feed-in tariffs; self-consumption is just a bonus on top.But the income from the feed-in tariffs must also be taxed, right?
I think I read something about that somewhere..
Thank you for your explanations!!
Regarding the topic of tax treatment, I’m unfortunately not the right person to ask, as I lack the necessary knowledge. I will be seeking help from a tax advisor myself.
Perhaps someone else in the forum can provide some input on this.
From a tax perspective, we plan to proceed in a way that allows us to reclaim the value-added tax (VAT) on the system, while in return, we will have to pay tax on our own consumption. I will have the exact procedure explained to me by the tax advisor.
As I understand it as a layperson (please correct me if this is wrong), I only need to pay tax on profits, and a taxed profit is still a profit. So, from my point of view, this would not be an argument against a photovoltaic system.
