ᐅ Is it beneficial to prepare for photovoltaic systems during new construction?

Hello
I am about to buy a new build from a developer.
Does it make sense to prepare for a photovoltaic system so that it can be installed later?
What exactly is needed for the preparation? Just an empty conduit?

If you are still in the planning phase, I recommend including a media shaft of about 20 x 40 cm (8 x 16 inches) from the attic down to the basement or utility room.
That’s how I did it. Freely accessible behind a panel on each floor.
No matter what comes, it can be managed.

After reading this thread, I spontaneously requested during the electrical planning appointment on Friday that we be offered the preparation for a photovoltaic system.
The offer now includes:
1 piece
Preparation for photovoltaic system (connections from the main electrical panel to the attic without wiring connections)
Empty conduit DN32 €110
Expand the meter cabinet by one distribution panel to accommodate additional electrical components
€450
Is this sufficient?

... Is this enough? No! DN32 is (definitely) too small! At least DN50.superzapp schrieb:
No! DN32 is (definitely) too small! Minimum DN50. Silly question, but how does he come up with DN32 if he has seen the house plans?
And then only one DN50, or do there need to be several? 😳

I have about 21 kWp installed on the house roof with 4 strings.
So there are 4 DC cables and control cables each, plus one or two grounding cables. I have around 5 empty conduits DN32 (32 mm / 1.26 inches) installed for this. Mine was quite spontaneous, after reading this thread—I wouldn’t have thought about it before.
Does it depend on the house size or orientation, for example? Maybe I should get familiar with the requirements beforehand.
Who can advise in such a case? And do I need to install any equipment later on? I don’t have any space for that.
