ᐅ Is it beneficial to prepare for photovoltaic systems during new construction?

Hello
I am about to buy a new build from a developer.
Does it make sense to prepare for a photovoltaic system so that it can be installed later?
What exactly is needed for the preparation? Just an empty conduit?

There is a lot happening in this area right now, with constantly improved models, especially for batteries.
I planned to address this topic and get one when switching to an electric car becomes relevant.
We don’t have a heat pump but a district heating network, so a photovoltaic system wouldn’t provide any heating benefits, only for regular electricity use.

I just checked the electrical bill again: For two empty conduits, 40mm (1.6 inches) in diameter, running from the flat roof and the hip roof to the technical room, I paid a flat rate of €80 (material and installation). That’s hardly worth doing it myself. So: It’s always worth having a discussion with the general contractor’s electrician—especially since I don’t know anyone who managed to avoid extra costs on the electrical work.P

I'll ask how expensive it is.
You only need 1-2 empty conduits, right?

Back then, I had conduits for photovoltaic systems included by the general contractor. The solar installer has already been on the roof and installed the modules. However, I’m not sure if I ever discussed the conduit from the basement to the roof for the photovoltaic system with the electrician.
