What is the minimum equipment needed for garden irrigation?
At the moment, it is only important to me to have pop-up sprinklers that start watering when the tap is turned on. Later expansions should be possible.
The garden is about 700m2 (7,535 sq ft) in an approximate U-shape around the house, with taps located on both sides of the U.
The outer edges of the shape measure 26 meters (85 ft), 36 meters (118 ft), 40 meters (131 ft), and 26 meters (85 ft).
A well might be installed later as a water supply.

Bucket test showed 15 seconds, which means 2400 liters per hour.

At what pressure? Or did you let it flow in without pressure?

I am also currently studying this topic quite intensively. Please keep in mind that the sprinklers need to overlap. So, you will need quite a few of them. It will likely require multiple zones that you have to water sequentially.
@rick2018 can provide you with a lot of information on this.

The bucket test is not very effective since there is no back pressure.
You will need several sprinklers. Sprinklers must be planned so that their coverage overlaps.
A sketch will make this easier.
You will need a sprinkler at least every 10 meters (33 feet) in all directions.
One sprinkler covering 180° already requires 650 liters per hour (172 gallons per hour). A well with a strong pump would therefore be advantageous.
At your faucet, you can probably only operate 2-3 such sprinklers.
@Tarnari what else do you want to know?

@rick2018 thanks, everything is fine on my end. I may have expressed myself unclearly. I just wanted to say that you have a very good understanding of the topic and can share a lot of useful information with the original poster. As for me, I am currently learning the ropes. It’s almost a science in itself. But as with many things, when you get involved, interest naturally develops.

I already understand that. I was more asking where you currently are in your planning process and if I might be able to help you.

That’s why I specifically asked about the pressure. You must not make the mistake of letting the water flow into a bucket without any back pressure. In that case, you might get great readings. Using a pressure gauge and a shut-off valve set to around 3.5 bar (50.8 psi) — if water flows out, you can then measure it and determine the number of sprinklers (or liters per hour) per zone.
