Good day.
I noticed that a door handle (brushed stainless steel) has light rust spots (not surface rust).
Could it be that disinfectant wipes cause such rust spots on stainless steel handles?
Thank you

There are grinding stones that are softer and finer-grained than sandpaper. I then treated the area with some machine oil, and after cleaning, the result was really good. You could only see the treated spot if you looked closely.

1) V2a is considered stainless steel but is not truly rust-resistant. 2) V4a, on the other hand, is practically rust-free. However, outside of shipbuilding, it is usually not used due to cost reasons.
3) Rust removal. Unipol.
